Forest-grown Arabica from the Mbalim Valley

Mbalim Spirit Coffee is a single origin Arabica brought to you through tribal cooperatives in the highlands of Baliem Valley, New Guinea. Our coffee is shade-grown within customary forests at an altitude of ~1500m, carrying earth and woody notes with subtleties of palm sugar, red fruits and tobacco.

This initiative was sprouted by Sahabat Alam Papua (SAPA) to support tribal sovereignty in the modern world. Cultivated through a chemical-free process, coffee here is shaped by Suku Adat and long-standing relations with territory, spirit and the surrounds.
